Filemaker 10 Certification

We are delighted to announce that Clive D'Urban succesfully passed the Filemaker 10 Certification exam this month.

Filemaker certification is an industry-recognized credential and is the only credential sponsored by FileMaker. Passing this very testing examination demonstrates a high level of technical expertise with the FileMaker 10 product line.


Vidlog

Dubbs Database Solutions has launched a new product for the Television industry. Vidlog is a video logging system which captures timecodes and still frames from video and allows mouse control of a VTR directly from a Filemaker database.

The system will be of great benefit to anyone who holds a library of video material. It allows tapes to be quickly catalogued with selected frames and respective timecodes captured into the database. The frames can then be viewed when searching the database for appropriate material, speeding up the research and retrieval process. The selected frames and timecodes can be printed or emailed for reference in an edit or used in creating a storyboard.

The Vidlog system can be customized and incorporated into any Filemaker database including existing video libraries.
